MSc. Joanna Bujak has successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled " Implication of TRPV1 in the functioning of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris)" and was awarded with a PhD degree by the Council of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine.

MSc Iwona Szopa was awarded the Highest Scientifc Award for oral presentation entitled "Activation of T lymphocytes isolated from peripheral blood of domestic dogs" during Reporting Scientific Session of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

MSc Iwona Szopa fellowship in Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Microbiology & Immunology (Charleston USA)
Phd student - Iwona Szopa has spent two excited months working in the great laboratory of dr Chrystal Paulos, our collaborator and friend. She was participating in the programing of human Th17 lyphocytes and gain new knowledge and experience in metabolic assays.

"ICLE 2018: International Conference on Lymphocyte Engineering 2019, London, UK"
Our PhD students Joanna Bujak and Iwona Szopa took part in the Second international conference concerning engeineering of lymphocytes using novel gene editing technologies.

MSc Iwona Szopa fellowship in Veterinary Department in Turin (Italy)
Phd student - Iwona Szopa has spent one month in the great laboratory of professor Luca Aresu at the Università degli Studi di Torin (Italy). She was participating in the isolation of tumor infiltrationg lymphocytes (TILs) from canine tumors and activate canine T cell using microbeads approach.

"ICLE 2018: International Conference on Lymphocyte Engineering 2018, Madrid, Spain"
Our team took part in the First international conference concerning engeineering of lymphocytes using novel gene editing technologies. As the organizers claim "With unprecedented success from more than 200 clinical trials, the recent increase in investment funding, and FDA approvals of CAR-T therapies, lymphocyte engineering has a potentially significant role in the future of healthcare." We hope this therapy will develop also in veterinary medicine.

Phd student - Joanna Bujak has spent one month in the great laboratory at the KU Louven (Belgium). She was participating in the exciting project concerning calcium metabolism in dendritic cells.

Two of our FIRST TEAM students (Iwona Szopa and Agata Łabędź) participated in the flow cytometry course from 04-06.2018 to 9.06.2018 in EMBL Heidelberg (Germany).
We constantly improve our skills.

10th Global Summit on Immunology and Cell biology
The 10th Global Summit on Immunology and Cell biology, organized by the Conference series took place from 11th May to 12th May 2018 in Osaka, Japan.
The conference covered areas like Clinical Immunology, Vaccines and Vaccination, Cancer Immunology & Immunotherapy, Cell and developmental biology.
Our team had two succesfull oral presenations.
